Joan Brossa. Cartells 1975-1999

The exhibition aims the dissemination of the work of a temporary creator, the most important avant-garde Catalan poet of the 20th century, Joan Brossa (Barcelona, 1919-1998), so we assembled the complete collection of posters that he made all along his life.

Openig times: 12th October to 30th November, from Tuesday to Sunday, from 9.30 to 12.00 and from 14.30 to 18.00.

Exhibition of 9 canvases with embroidery executed with the Castelo Branco stitch technique, using silk thread without a cotton cloth.

Pintura | Alcínio Vicente

Painting

Exhibition of 17 oil paintings with canvas and acrylic without paper, dealing with several themes from which it is possible to point out those referring to the city and to rural daily life of Aldeia do Bispo, where Alcínio Vicente was born. We should emphasise those dedicated to the Border Coping stone.

La Bajada y Subida de Ntra. Sra. De la Concepción: Virgen de los Pagodes | Carlos Cazurro

Crepitares – The Descent and the Ascension of the Immaculate Conception: Virgin de los Pagodes

Itinerant photographic exhibition, with black and white pictures of Carlos Cazurro, captured in the Castilian-Leon place of Nava Del Rey during a religious demonstration with a Marian perspective, dedicated to the Virgin de los Pagodes.  It was organised in conjunction with the Ayuntamiento de Nava del Rey and the Social Studies Centre of UBI.

Linked to this exhibition, in June 21st, in the Wool Museum auditorium, the conference Cultos Marianos en Espãna y en Iberoamerica took place. It was pronounced by Angel Espina with the moderation of Johanna Schouten and Pedro Salvado presentation.
